St John’s Choir are a friendly and sociable group who enjoy singing harmony and music of all genres. We support the weekly worship in church and sing at weddings and funerals when asked to do so. We also contribute programmes of more challenging pieces for special services and major festivals and produce a Summer Concert each year to raise funds for the church.
Choir practices are generally held on Wednesday evenings between 8pm and 9pm and we are always on the lookout for new members: full-time or part-time (i.e. major festivals and the Summer Concert), male or female, soprano, alto, tenor or bass.
