Please remember that the facility is not provided by the Council. It is owned and managed by a charity (AHSRA) paid for through fundraising and income such as rental or donations.

To ensure that everyone in our community enjoys the facility safely and in consideration of our neighbours and wildlife there are a few guidelines that we ask visitors to follow:

Guidelines for Use:

  • Children should be supervised by a responsible adult at all times
  • The outdoor facilities, including the children’s play areas and boules court may be used at any time – other than pitch areas of the Playing Field if hired
  • Football teams and any other groups are able to hire either of the pitches for exclusive use for practice or organised matches Field Contact / Rental
  • Anyone wishing to use the field for any organised group training (with 5 attendees or more) must first seek approval from AHSRA before any training starts
  • Other personal training or fitness services sessions are allowed free of charge but sessions are limited
  • There should be no placing or fixing of any lighting or structures
  • There should be no use of objects or cordons that mark out an area to restrict general access or imply exclusive use
