As part of the investigation works following the recent flooding, CW&C have confirmed that their jetting and CCTV camera team will be in Ashton Hayes from Monday 17 May for approximately two weeks. IWJS (Industrial Water Jetting Systems) are planning to start up to the east of the village, at the head of the system, before moving steadily west.
They may be quicker, it just depends on how much desilting is required along the way and what they find. They will have a tanker jetting unit and transit van with them.
The information gathered during this work will feed into the overall Section 19 reporting.
They will need to close a few of the roads to the west of the village but the diversion routes will use neighbouring roads.
