As we move out of lockdown the parish council are keen to restart the very successful community cleanup events. We know several local people have been picking up litter all through lockdown and we are grateful to them for helping to keep the parish tidy.
The next formal community cleanup event will take place on Saturday 29th May 2021, and will coincide with the Keep Britain Tidy “Great British Spring Clean 28 May to 13 June 2021”.
As there will still be some COVID-19 restrictions in place, we are asking those who wish to take part to let us know in advance by emailing communitycleanup@ashtonhayespc.co.uk by the end of 23rd May. This will allow us to plan COVID secure routes etc.
