Message from Janet Handley (OPAL Services) – Volunteers Required!

Hi, I am the Volunteer Coordinator for OPAL and with lockdown easing we are now looking for a range of volunteers to support our services.

We support older people and their carers across rural west Cheshire and currently have over 200 volunteers helping us, recently winning the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service.

For more information about what we do please see our website: https://www.opalservices.org.uk/

We are looking for a range of people, including those working from home with particular interest in fundraising or publicity as well as drivers, carer support and general volunteers.

Realistically if people want to volunteer I’m sure we can find a role to suit them!

Let me know if you require any further information, equally if you are aware of anyone within your community who would benefit from our fabulous service called GoOnline (which supports over 60s in using the internet) let me know too.

We are able to offer this service remotely at the moment which has been extremely popular during lockdown.

Thanks in advance for your help.
